Recently, I was running around like a headless chicken what with the new year and all. And just for fun, I Googled "headless chicken" and that's how I came across this supposedly true story of Mike the Headless Chicken.
Well, it is mighty hard to believe but there is even a holiday declared to honour this chicken in his hometown, Fruita, Colorado. So it must be true....

Mike's adventure started on September 10th, 1945, when he was only five and a half months old. He lived in that headless condition for eighteen months.
It is very amazing. I wonder HOW can a chicken with no head live for that long???
The sight of him must be scarier than sightings of headless spirits eeeeeeeeeeee
